Can I buy the A728/A728 in UK now?

Maybe The Darkside was not thinking that the 3 street addresses of Argos shops: Corby, Walsall and Stanley that you will find following the web link I gave were not enough of a first answer for where to look for previous series of Sony players in this beautiful country. Me, as I don't live in the UK, I can't go to every of those 3 stores to give you a better answer than what says their eBay shop.

FWIW, I have no B&M stores or places in the US to purchase either the A729/829. I was making an observation. As for the 3 street addresses you mention, they have no bearing on the comment I made. Read my comment, as I'd have loved to get the A729 shipped to the US, but the shop listed doesn't ship to the USA!!!

As for stores that you can walk in and purchase, these are discontinued players - so I'd suggest calling the shop listed by meetooman.

You can be lucky in the US too. In another post I saw you can get a Sony cradle from Tiger Direct/Amazon.com at a quite low price. They even offer now the WM-Port bluetooth adapter at $19,99 instead of $69,99!
To conclude on the matter of the A720/A820 series, I believe that if you don't live in a big country close to the capital city, you will not have a great access to niche discounters. Maybe the web is also the best place for them to sell discontinued models.

I saw one A820 at my Sony Style store, but it was the last one, and 4GB.

I can see a few of them in 2 stores in my neighbourhood, but they are still at their two years old high list prices. Maybe we will see some opportunities in the next january sales.

Actually, I`m in China not UK. And you cannot buy A728/A729 in China, even not A820. However, I found a shop in taobao(just like ebay) which can sell A728/A729, and it said he purchases products from UK. So I wanna know whether can buy A728/A729 now, I wanna make sure the A728/A729 which I will buy is the Brand New one not the retreaded one.
