Hey guys. How are you doing?
I just got myself a mac. I plugged my D2 into mac and somehow all the music is gone and it says the memory is full. Does anybody know why? |

Maybe this is any help to you? It's about the S9 and OS X, but I don't see how it could be overly different than the D2, since Macs break many non-iPod players equally. - http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50841

Sorry, sold my D2 a long time ago. You'd have to adapt the theme yourself for newer firmwares.

Hey everyone,
This happened to me back last summer after only having the thing for about 3 months. My D2+ was properly removed from my MacBook Pro and now I can't access any music files, and the screen locks up after about 2 minutes. I have since moved on to another mp3 player, but would like to fix it regardless. I looked at the other thread and didn't find any concrete solutions to solving this problem once it's already happened. Any advice would be great! |

strange thing. i use a mac too (ibook g4/osx 10.4.11), my d2+ was always correctly recognized. appeared as supposed as additional drive in the finder. i don't use itunes, i have my music properly sorted in folders on my backup hdd, so i just moved all stuff over to the d2+. the sdhc-card inside the player was also properly recognized, appeared as supposed as additional drive. it just takes a little patience, my ibook needs some time until player and card in the finder.
a bit more information what exactly happened, which music in which format was on the player before connected to the mac, which version of os x, etc... in my case cowon d2+ and mac work together as intended, no problems after several months of use. |
