Syncing a Sansa with a car stereo

Hey everyone, first post...

Has anyone had success with syncing their Sansa with a car stereo head unit? So far I've gotten as far as getting obscure filenames to appear on the head unit, but no songnames.

You mean using the Sana as a USB drive for the head unit? I have used my e200 with an Alpine once. It worked, don't remember if it could navigate by tags or just files.

1) Of course, won't play anything but mp3 files. Maybe AAC since it really integrates with Ipod.

2) Doesn't recognize the microSD card, where most of my music is.

Remember that all your music is in the music directory. Other files in the root directory are related to the firmware, not the music.
