i just got the dock, and tested it with my reciver. when it's connected i can't adjust the volume, but the sound preset's are still going trough the line-out signal.
so is it possible that it's still a "true" line-out even though there is sound preset's
any thoughs on this?

cheers Dvinge

It's probably a true line-out in that it's not going through the headphone amplifier and volume control circuit. I think it's directly after the DAC as volume has no effect, so yeh I would say it's a true analogue line-out. The sound presets been handled digitally and so would be before the DAC.
