You have to set the gsensor mode to rotate.

This means, go in the menu and tap the pivot icon a few times until you see an icon with a horizontal semi-transparent and a vertical fully visible screen.

I posted this in the Aero Ultimate G2 thread, but I don't think it gets many replies anymore, so I'm posting this here.


Hello everyone, I've had my Cowon S9 for a while, but I never really found any good UCIs to use (Claw didn't appeal to me, even though I still think it's pretty cool lol).

Anyway, over the summer, I think I tried the Aero Ultimate UCI (not the G2), and I think I set a password. I think that the UCI slowed down my system a bit, so I removed the Aero Ultimate UCI, and reverted to the original settings.

However, after coming back to this site, I saw the Dark Evolution Music UCI and the Aero Ultimate G2, and I knew I had to get them.

Here's the problem: I never deleted my password when I downloaded the original Aero Ultimate UCI in the summer. Now, after downloading the Aero Ultimate G2, it asks me for a password!

I didn't think this would be a problem, since I thought removing the original Aero Ultimate UCI would also delete my settings.

Can anyone please help me?! Is there a way to restore the Aero Ultimate UCI to "factory settings," as in, without ant passwords set?

I was really looking forward to using Aero Ultimate G2. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

I'd like to make a request: there should be an option to make the |<<, |>, and >>| icons larger -- the way they appear on the main menu. They are too small for me, as they are, so an option to toggle sizes would be nice.

Is it possible to create an option so you can use the original cowon horizontal view (the one where you can choose the albums)?. Also could you put a power button on the main music screen?

okay can someone please help me with the "horizontal mode"? It doesn't seem to be working. I read some posts that say to press a pivot button on the menu but there is no such button (that I can see, but I might be blind). ~>D.E. v.9b1

(For the horizontal mode you click the down facing arrow on the top of the screen, then you click a few time the rectangle icon with a lock (the one on the bottom right) to get to a icon composed of two rectangles : one in vertical, and the other in horizontal)

Hey, I really like this UCI. It took a bit of playing with to figure everything out. For days, I was annoyed that I couldn't browse albums directly from the music screen. Well then I held on browser and it went straight to browser. Sneaky. After figuring that out, it is a bit more elegant than double clicking or any other gesture I can think of. This thing is really slick.

I do have a question. This thing supports lrc lyrics, right? Is there a thread that explains how to get this to work.

Just examples of things I don't understand: Where do you dump the lyric files? Same folder as the music files, or is there a specific place? What codecs are supported? Just mp3 or are other files supported? I'm guessing the 2 files should have same naming structure except for the file type suffix. This is how it works with subtitles and movies. I've had no luck getting lyrics to show up with songs.

Any help is appreciated. I'd just like to try this out since I keep seeing that dialog box that is always greyed-out.

I know its not designed for the S9, but get the xmini II speaker if you're in the UK. I got mine for £14, and its an awesome little thing
