[Appraisal] Zune HD 16GB

Hey folks - I'm looking to get a Zune HD appraised. I've been wanting to sell it for a while now but simply never had the time to invest into it putting it for sale. I've had this thing since it was released in 09. I've taken good care of it but with all gadgets they do then to get damaged here and there.

Now don't get me wrong - the player is in 100% working condition it's just got a few minor marks at the very bottom of the player - of which are covered by the case that I purchased to protect it.

I will be posting pics soon - but I'd like to know how much someone or anyone is willing to buy a Zune HD 16GB for. Like I said it does show signs of wear ( very minor ) and I understand it'll bring the value down.

Prices range - one with a broken screen at $69

Another at $89

Then it jumps to $150

Well start with a price around there, post it for sale for that price. You can even do OBO but its going to sell better like that. You should put it on head-fi as well.

Looks like the prices of the new Zunes have went up. I could have sworn several months ago the 64GB HD was selling for around $300.00. Now, at Amazon, I see it for $600.00.

As for the 16GB version, Best Buy is selling them at $99.00 for refurbished ones. Link:

I think around a hundred is a good asking price. That's what I'd ask if I were to sell mine right now. I wouldn't expect it to sell super quick, though...

With dings it'll sell for less, like $70 or so.

Yeah, I'd probabbly ask for around 85, the dings are very small and are only at the rubber-ish bottom. It's got a case now so you don't even see them

Interesting.....the one guy selling one "used, like new" for $499....mine qualifies as used, like new. Maybe I should undercut that guy's price....lol.

Sell it,...you could get a Samsung Galaxy 5.0, a new micro SDcard for it, and have $$$ left over!!! DOOOOO ITTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

Is there still a market for it though? It's a nice enough player, but it's the one I use the least. I am intrigued by that 5.0 though, I must admit, and I've never tried Android.

Put it up for sale on Amazon.com,...since it's becoming a collectors item. Plus, it comes with a case, right? That makes it a faster seller,...

Maybe I will look into that.....never sold anything on there before, have to do some reading, I guess.

Amazon's selling regimen has no disincentive to setting prices unreasonably. People are free to post ridiculous prices as long as they'd like. Forever.
