I can't believe these are free. I mean, some of them, yeah, like Checkers, but PGR and Audiosurf...crazy. The bowling game seems pretty good too, although I haven't put a lot of time into it.

Audiosurf Tilt =
All i need now is a Windows Live Messenger App + Flash support. also Audiosurf Tilt rocks, so much fun & this game beat all iTouch gaming apps out there.

OMG AudioSurf Tilt is awesome. I played the PC ver a bit when it came out and it had a lot more modes. But all I ever played was mono (Hit colors, avoid greys) so this works out perfectly for me. One thing I noticed though is that AudioSurf does not support Unicode in song names. One small minus but still defiantly awesome for a free app. I personally would of paid money for this.

PGR, I cant comment to much on this cause im addicted to AudioSurf atm, but I tried it for a bit and the controls take some getting use to. Graphics are also win

I've yet to try Van's.

Put the Tilt in high in PGR then you can easy turn, PGR is very nice but AudioSurf is awesome.

Guys - I'm STOKED to read this kind of feedback, and I'll be sure to pass it directly on to the team. It's been challenging seeing all the feedback posted previously knowing we have cool stuff coming (and we're not done!), but finally getting it out definitely rocks. Your positive comments rock even more.

I've been slammed and haven't had the presence in here that I have had previously, but hopefully now can spend a little more time.

Cheers, Dave.

Thanks to Dave and the team, although it took a bit of while, a great set of games. And thanks that they're free as well, this is a step to making more out of what we paid for the device, good job.

I'm really glad to hearing that there's more coming, I really want to see more of what the Tegra platform can do, so far I like

Why can't people get over the advert? At least it gives you something to look at whilst the game is loading. Seriously, we are exposed to adverts all our lives almost all day and no one complains. Then as soon as a company gives you FREE games and sticks a tiny ad in which ONLY comes at the beginning before you are in a game, they bitch.

Whats with that? How does it in anyway effect your life? RE the Zune pass thing, I get what you are saying but consider that when you buy a Nike shirt you are now a walking advert for them even though you have ALREADY bought their product. Same thing.

Yeah I don't get it. I've heard people complain about the 30 second kia ad. What 30 second kia ad? I didn't have a timer but I hardly doubt it was anymore than a little over 10 or even less. Seriously just look away at the device for a few seconds big deal. I heard someone on the zune forums say it was a waste of their valuable time. As if 5 - 10 seconds would have you doing something more productive if you're planning on playing a game anyway.

Plus, the game loads whilst the ad is displayed so you dont lose a second of your "valuable" time.
p.s. I am presuming this based on 3rd party XNA apps taking about 10 seconds to load just like the ones with ads(which get a second or two of the starlet loading screen.

Welcome back to the fray, Davemac! I hope MS's cuts aren't overtaxing those who remain.

The games are great! I love the little piano. I'd like to challenge the developer to improve multitouch sensing in it though. I can't seem to get it to play two (or more) notes at exactly the same time.

About the ads... Does the HD report back to MS every time the game runs/ad displays? My curious mind wants to know. Does MS get a few cents every time the ad is played/viewed or only once when we download the game? What happens if I turn WiFi off before running a game?

I think you will still see the ads since I usually have Wifi off and still get the ads.
