Battery life seems on the low end for a Cowon. It'll be interesting to see how navigation works on this and how it sounds...

I'm loving it - I wear it round my neck with a nice ribbon. All day long people have asked me what it is and have wanted to hold it.

My E2 apparently is defective. It shorts out my USB ports anytime it's plugged in to one. The should have used a more standard microUSB connector. I guess at least it looks good. Shame it's worthless to me now.

I use both of mine on the same port on my netbook and they've been fine so far. Shame about that, Olley.

Hi forums I'm new here
![]() I am thinking about buying this model but additionally I have a question about battery life how long it is? 11h less or maybe more - during your tests and normal daily usage of this player. Thanks, CRR |

Wow that was quick, thanks a lot.
Previously I had no-name german production player (256mb) and I like that it was on AAA batteries so I don't have to worry about power off during eg long trip where it's impossible to recharge battery so I a little bit worry with this 11+ battery life in E2 and bulit-in battery. BTW. Did you find any inconvenient with using E2? (I mean no screen, difficult navigation between files/folders, too small buttons or smth else?) EDIT: I see you have Sansa Clip+, how about battery life in this case? is it longer than battery life in E2? Thanks, CRR |

The E2 is really easy to use blindly and you get audio signals when you change the BBE setting or when you browse by folder/shuffle etc.
Basically, if you get a 4GB one then you'll have around 500 songs on it - that's about the maximum you would want, arranged into albums/folders before it could get tiresome to navigate. The Clip+ has a slightly longer battery life - but it's maybe only an hour more. It is an altogether more complete player, though, and there is a lot more you can do with it ie. FM/Voice recording. And of course it has a screen. See here for my quick E2 review: http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34374 |
