Here's a strange one...
I flashed to 2.50 and found that barely any sound was coming out of the right ear bud. Had to adjust balance big time in options. Buds worked fine on other mp3 player. Re-flashed back to 2.41 and all is well again. Anyone else see (or hear ) this?

Why is everyone complaining about how weird the new ui is? the link from dfkt makes it seem like the plain blue one is still there...

Claw UCI works well with the 2.50 Firmware, what I did anyway. I don't think much of the 2.50 firmware GUI.

I don't have my S9 yet, and I agree Menu 3 looks stupid, but 1 looks alright and I rather like 2.

okay, where do you find this on the s9 and what folder do you put the playlists in because I would love to make playlists that stop deleting when switching transfer modes.

I have it on sleep mode, just tried turning that off, but what i think happens is that turning it off, isn't actually turning it off and if you touch the screen it comes back on, so i'm going to try always put the hold button on and see if that stops it chewing through battery. Otherwise i'm rolling back. use it once, come back and find its flat, really annoying! |

@gsmac - forgive me if you know this already but you have to push the off button and hold it for 3 seconds for the S9 to actually shut off, what it sounds like you're doing is just shutting the screen off which happens when you push and release quickly. you're right, the better method is to turn off the screen then push it over to lock mode to prevent accidental screen touches to bring it back up. my battery life is fine using this method.

btw i'm probably the only person that doesn't mind the 3rd menu interface. i like the icons better and some of the widgets are very usable such as the one-touch music player. i've customized it so that widget, as well as the normal Music and Settings icons, are on the first desktop, making it more of a streamlined music player. then all apps on the right desktop and all utilities (battery life, storage capacity, etc) on the left desktop. works great for me.

Sorry for the ignorance but I must ask this -
I have installed the lastest firmware version. Is this means I don't need to install former versions? |

Ever since i upgraded to version 2.50 my .WMV files do not play but the new firmware release notes say that this version has fixed the problem. Does anyone else have troubles playing .WMV files on their Cowon S9?
