I plan to pick up the Droid sometime after christmas; I'll still keep my Zune HD tho because I love the HD Dock.

This is funny, because today this is exactly what I was thinking about doing, selling my HD for the Droid. I just wish the Droid phone was announced sooner so I would've had it in consideration earlier before I bought something. The $199 price tag is great for what you're getting and I'm already on Verizon. Although I'd miss the OLED screen, the screen on the droid is big and still looks gorgeous, and the device is thin for what it is and looks to be almost as quick and responsive as the HD. Also, I can bet there's plenty more things you can do with it

Sorry for bashing on the Zune you guys. Personally, my biggest buying point with the HD was Tegra, but after I've been hearing that Microsoft doesn't plan to push gaming with this thing I think I might switch. Or maybe I'll just wait and see what the direction Microsoft decides to take the Zune in the coming months, I dunno, but I think I'll rather since learning my lesson from earlier adopting.

Just wonder what should happen with Zune HD when someone releases a compelling and ground-breaking DAP with Android 2.0 next year?

A lot more people will be saying farewells to the crippled Zune. That is what this endeavor deserves after being slow to provide what the people really WANT!

I for one will say: Welcome $150 Zune HD 32GB with dock!!

In my opinion this is an easy decision...if you are media centric, you are not going to get the same experience you get with the zune and the zune pass with a windows smartphone, android or even an iphone. If media is a secondary requirement and you don't care about the ecosystem that the zune pass offers, I would also look at going the one device fits all requirements route.
For me, bliss would be the zune with a phone...don't care too much for apps but I would like a basic phone on top if the media requirements.
I guess the ultimate for some people would be a zune, app market, games and phone all in one but I don't think we are there yet...

BTW- to the OP...price sees a little high considering it's only 10 bucks off a new one...I'd rather just get a new one...just my opinion however...

Duly noted, price has been changed. Keep in mind this is basically a new device, considering what good hands it's been in. Mine. And not to mention having a BodyGuardz on it, protecting that lushes OLED screen. BTW I also ship to CANADA.

I am taking $15 off the price if It goes through PayPal alone. eBay fees are ridiculous. So If you really want a Zune HD with BodyGuards screen, you can get it for $185 + $8 shipping.

well... my sister kinda took my Samsung P3..... and my dad said I already have a Sony Walkman, so she keeps the p3. D:
but that gives me a nice excuse to get a new gadget....

So what DAP/PMP are you using after you sell the ZuneHD?
