Unable to copy system files to device

I have a Samsung YH-J70 and am using Windows 7 OS, where it shows as a Hard Disk, I recently formatted it. I then pressed the reset button which gave me the folders on the device but they don't show in Windows Explorer. Also when I turn it on it says the font file is missing. I also want to update the firmware, I have downloaded the files.

My problem is when I try to copy the files to the device it Windows Explorer says: "The file is not supported on this device. This device can only accept image, audio and folder files."

I would appreciate any help with this problem, I did try renaming the files as MP3 but was then unable to re-name them once copied to the device. In Multimedia manager it only shows as a hard disk.
