Hello everybody, here is a new Samsung mp3 player the GMP3 staff has discovered on moveplayer.net



Made for the Chinese market, it includes a CMMB TV tuner
The screen is 3 inch big (400 x 240, 16 millions colours)
4Gb memory with microSD slot (up to 8Go)
RM/RMVB, AVI (divx), SVI, MP4, WMV support,
Internal speaker, Voice recording, FM Radio

It looks like a mix between CP3 and R0 with the same tactile buttons.
You probably won't see it outside China.

The M1 will be released in other countries and Chinese also have the CP3

They are shitty earbuds.
Chinese should also get IEM. That's not because it's a developing country that they can't have better sound in ears. I hate this Samsung Policy!

i wonder why Samsung dont want to enter headphone/earphone competition (like akg,sony,audio technica,sennheiser,etc), i think with a big name like Samsung, its not hard to become famous

Yep... Tactile buttons seem pointless unless they got some important functions like manual volume button +/-, power button, lock, etc.

For the headphone competition, Samsung themselves do make good headphones, but their competition outside Korea isn't that big or popular compared to competition within Korean companies like LG, Cowon, and the long-deceased then revived Daewoo brand...

I hoped I could have found a video of the TV feature on Youtube but it seems Chinese do not know Youtube, do not have camera or do not care on sharing with the rest of the world

This player seems to be the one for me. Looks like a bigger brother of the R0.

I was considering ordering a R0 from eBay. I'll hold on for this player now. Gotta love the fact that it has buttons instead of touchscreen.

Just gotta wait for this thing to release now!

So currently there are 3 Samsung mp3 players with mobile TV:
-Samsung PB2 in Korea (T-DMB)
-Samsung MB1 in Korea (T-DMB)
-Samsung CM3 in China (CMMB)

It's a shame we are late in Europe and America regarding mobile TV
