need some help guys, downloaded 2 UCI's the ipod one and vista. "right clicked, saved file, onto my laptop and put it on my R1 under "my pack, themes" folder, also tried 'flash' folder aswell, went on my R1 and it was there under the 'file browser- my pack- themes' folder, selected it and it came up but the UCI buttons didnt work, for example i clicked on music n got nothing, had the option 'the curved arrow' to go back which i pressed and it sent me back to the normal interface.

any help is appreciated, thanks.

I'm using the Samsung YP-R1CJB 8GB version, if that helps.

No, actually we don't care. But I have a black R1 sample 4Gb and a R1 16Gb if you wanna know

If you use the file browser, then it's as if you open the UCI with the flash player. As UCIs are in flash format (swf) they can be open by the flash player but you cannot do anything that way.

In fact, when you are on the home menu, touch the screen at the bottom, left corner. Then a selection bar displays. Chose Style and you should see your new UCIs

i read somewhere P3 UCI's should work on the R1 but they clearly do not, as i have tried, shame really.

any info on gettin the dictionary and subway maps on the UK's R1 and some new UCI's??

Default Where can I find the UCI SDK for R1???
Hi, thank you for the themes.
I got a different question, where do I get the R1 UCI SDK(?) file to start building themes?
I work with Flash and I found a P3 tutorial here...

...but don't know where to get the UCI SDK for R1.
Is it available? If so, where can I get it?

@lebellium: i can't find a german forum with UCI's. this is the only source i found whitch had a couple of UCI's and helps me to make my own UCI. but you are right. if i find some time i will create the icons with english labels.

now with english labels: download swf

Here is an exclusive awsome UCI by Geunhee from Moveplayer.net



R1 Android Style UCI

It's really well made since you can add/remove/move the icons and widgets!! (usually you can't move the icons on the UCIs)

It's a beta version for the moment so there are some restrictions on the icons arrangement. However, there will be no restrictions in the final version

To get the same arrangement as on the picture:
-first row : Music, FM Radio, Pictures, Beat DJ, Dictionary
-second row : Videos, Flash Player, Games, Texts, File Browser
-third row : Datacasts, Bluetooth, Subway, Settings, Address Book, Voice REC

Because it is an flash-file. You don't left-click it, you right-click > Save as.
