unless sony is waiting for android 2.0 and will use that for new walkmans in the US and europe? I am hoping this is not the case and sony europe does release the new players here in the fall.

I think they're missing a huge market potential in the US, think how many would be interested in the 64GB NW-A847 at a reasonable price

Just release a 64gb player in the US please, and without a stinkin' touch screen. TBH I've had my fill, and I'd like a tactile control based player.

It's the first player I've seen that would convince me to trade in my 48GB D2. 64GB is the sweet spot for me at the moment (though more would be even better).

In the US/EU-these would have to have no ATRAC support and be called NWZ-

hmm, supposedly the new NWZ-A845 was registered in korea around 2 weeks ago, so perhaps a worldwide launch is due soon?
