Official wall-charger (AC adaptor)

Following the complaints about charging the clix, iriver have released an official AC charger. It consists of the little white adaptor (shown below) and an AC/DC adaptor identical to that used for the H10. There are no issues using the adaptor - it worked out the box with my new 4gb clix (firmware 2.0x something or other) and also reports to work fine on 2gb clix's with older firmware. The player can be used while charging, and it also apparently works with the dock (allowing the player to be charged in the dock while being used). I've attatched a picture of mine...



Currently the only place selling them is the misticriver store and for some reason iriveramerica have announced they do not plan on selling them in the near future. I don't know if other stores will stock them.

I got mine free with my 4gb clix purchase . I think the offer is still running... just add both items (4gb clix and charger) to the basket and apply the coupon "clixchargerfree" at the checkout. Only problem is it added weight to my package and so shipping to the UK was a couple of quid more.

are you sure it will play music as it charges...???hope it will..i also hope it will charge while unit is playing in cradle if thats the case i will not sell my cradle on ebay..

Yes, it lets you use it and charge it at the same time.
I don't have the cradle, but apparently it also works and charges in the cradle too.

Hey... are you on the C6 forum? Need to get a Clix interface for that machine! (I bought AC and DC chargers off ebay and you can listen to music while charging.
