Be patient, as the last time MS screwed up the orders from Zune Originals the people got them for free. It was for a special Valentines Day Zune 80 I believe. I kicked myself for forgetting to place the order for it for weeks (I would have been 1 of the people to get a free Zune!!!). Relax, MS rewards patience. I'll give them credit for that - apple wouldn't even consider doing such a thing!!!!

Personally...
I'm absolutely thrilled that demand for the ZUNE HD demand is so high that they can't seem to keep up (at this point), it sure has the kiddies on the APPLE/iPod forums in an uproar - :-) Understand that I do empathize with your desire to get the player you want, though are (currently) unable to do so. I hope it helps that your patience will be be well rewarded once you do get your ZUNE HD... It really is That Good! |

Yup , its going to take 3 weeks for me to get my order. Oh and the $15 token does not work.
I am not ordering from microsoft every again and I will advise others never to buy from zune originals. I'm sorry but this experiance is just getting worse. I ordered mine last tuesday. It took over a week for them to actually send me an email and it will take over 2 weeks time for them to even ship the device out. I may not get my device for almost 3 weeks. I could have gone with dell and saved $50 bucks |

Im wondering how long would it take for the Zune HD to get to Canada if it ships from Zune Originals to USA, then to Canada? I just hope I get it in time for Nov5, my Bday

I believe the code needs to be redeemed through http://www.zune.net, not the PC client - did you try that?

So an update - the ZO team will be sending out updated instructions (to redeem your code on Zune.net, not the PC client) and there'll be updated shipping instructions.
I'm reliably informed that most folks will have their units shipped out very, very soon. I don't want to commit to a timeframe since it will vary based on when you've ordered - but individual emails will be coming really soon. Nobody should be waiting anything like 3 weeks to get their devices - that I've been assured of. Thanks, Dave.
