Cowon D2+ 16 GB with DAB

Do you know if the Cowon D2+ 16 GB with DAB will be made? I can't find it anywhere today. Why do I have to choose between 16 GB and DAB? I want both!

PS. Can the battery in the D2+ be changed?

Hey

Yes, there is a 16 gig version of the D2+ DAB available (at least here in germany)
but it is 224 € while the S9 32 gig is only 244 €.

to your second question:
yes, it can be changed, if you are good in soldering ;-)

Are you sure that the D2+ you are talking about isn't just an ordinary d2? Anyway, it seems they don't sell D2+ with 16 GB and DAB in Norway, so I think I'm going to order the 8 GB.

When I'm ordering a memory card, do I have to think about the speed of the card? Does the speed have anything to do with the music playing, or is the speed just important when I'm transfering songs till/from the computer? If you wonder, I think I will go for a San Disk 32 GB with 15 MB/s both ways. Do you think that will do?

You could also order a regular D2 16gb with DAB and put the D2+ fw on it (do a search for instructions) - this is what I have and it works with all the functionality of a D2+.

They don't sell the original D2 in Norway, so I can't decide if I want the D2+ 8GB DAB or the D2+ 16GB without DAB. Is DAB really THAT important, or should I go for 8GB more?!
