I was pointed to this link (http://forums.xna.com/forums/p/38975/226669.aspx). It looks like the tools for developing (at least games) for the Zune HD are being released. Thought some people might like to know.

yes!!! i wonder what kinda games ppl are gonna make now... hopefully people stop whining from the lack of apps, its really annoying

Development tools are there, but I wonder if distribution is going to be there.

Thanks for this. I am in a group for my game dev major and during our senior year we have to make a game. Currently we are using XNA to put onto XBL. I talked to my producer today and he is fine with the Zune HD. I wont say any details just yet on what the game is but it will be something simple. We are developing a casual story. Gameplay will be fun we are trying to stay true to the formula but mixing it up every level you play. Once i can reveal more i will. I am so happy about this.
