differences of stock dnse and mydnse settings?

hi,
i encountered something weird, playing around with my samsung yp-q2 equalizer settings.
i really like the "club" preset, so i wanted to use that one as a start. i looked up the settings in emodio and put the same values into the mydnse settings on my player. still, it sounds completely different from the "club" preset:

1. the total volume is MUCH lower for the mydnse setup.
2. cant really tell details, but the overall sound is different as well. might be because of the lower volume.....

does someone of you have an explanation for this?

in Emodio??? u mean emodio.com?? if yes, that dnse file from emodio is usually from other user of samsung like us, so it`s something like custom dnse by user for user

nope, i mean the software by samsung that is shipped with the player

I don't use any of those presets. I just make my own settings ( 3 different ones, for different headphones.)

sounds like a great idea. problem is that i have never managed to produce a sound similar to the "club" preset, which id like to use as a starting point. also, i do not reach the same volume for the custom settings....

I don't use any of their own presets - like Marvin I have 3 different settings for different phones/speakers.

Precisely same problem with me. I like club DNSe sound, but I wanted to make just tiny corrections to it. What I got was something completely different, far far away from the original. I decided to stick on club.

I really love CLub preset too, can anybody share the frequency of it?
