The M1, even though it only has a 3.3 inch screen, is more to my liking. This brand is more obscure, so I hope you'd never need to RMA it for repairs/warranty service.

It is a Korean product, but there's no support outside of Korea. That's why I'd suggest steering clear of it, as you'll be on your own if anything goes wrong w/it.

Specs look amazing on paper. Perfect resolution for that screen size, none of that tired old 480x272 stuff. And all the relevant (and some irrelevant, like WMA/WMV) codecs supported as well.

Definitely, there's a risk with buying one of these the same as buying a chinese knockoff ipod.

My bet is that this player makes the O2 look like gold. And we know that looked great on paper

btw the spec said ADPCM support, what si the difference between ADPCM and PCM?

ADPCM is low quality, high efficiency PCM, used in cellphone communications and similar. No idea how an MP3/video player would benefit from supporting ADPCM, makes no sense to me.
