I just got my new cowon s9 and have been putting some videos and music on it, but some of the videos have too big of resolutions to fit, how can i fix that?

I use VirtualDub, though it's not very user-friendly
which resolution are the original videos at? it can handle DVD res no problem. |

Use the software that came w/the S9, as it converts and re-sizes videos wonderfully. I use it when converting H.264 videos.

I use mencoder because I'm a nerdy Linux guy who likes complicated command-line tools.

I use AutoGK for simply resizing an avi (saves battery life I think*) and Cowon's JetAudio for converting mp4's, wmv, etc. to avi.
*Firmware 2.10: Improved battery life when high resolution (over 480*272) files are played in Movie mode. Continuous Playback hour is depends on files but it is improved up to 75%. |
