t9 self turns on

hi everyone

here is my problem: after i turn off my T9 it self turns on inmediately.
i put in on hold while turning off and then it gives the HOLD screen over and over...
how can i solve this? pz help mee

I also experience this now.

My Samsung YP-T9 also turns on by itself.

I have tried resetting the default configuration (Settings->System->Default Set) but the problem still persists.

I also tried updating my library but no luck.

Because of this, my T9 is constantly turned on. If I put it on hold, the hold and lock icon keeps popping out. Very annoying.

I'm using 1.80 KR firmware, by the way.

@sassafras: I've tried reinitializing the system by pressing and holding the [MENU] and [A B/ *] buttons at the same time.

After doing the reset, the player turns off but after a few seconds, it automatically turns on again by itself.

I have also tried downgrading the firmware into 1.72 MTP EU/US but it didn't fix the issue.

When I upgraded the firmware back into 1.80 UMS KR, the problem is still there.

Hi,
Anyone has worked out how to fix this problem?? I'm experiencing the same now (after I spilt some water on my Samsung... ) and it seems to be dry now but the problem with self switch-on remains...
