Help Pretty bad sound in my Sansa Clip V1 ?

Hello..

I just got myself an Clip 1GB with the FMtuner , i have seen all over the forums that the Sansa Clip should have great sound. But got pretty surprised when i took some music on it, the sound was pretty bad , when i took my Sony W202 and then my Sansa Clip.

Now is there an update or anything that i can do , so the sound get much better ? I do not use the following headset but an Sennheiser CX400.

I know this may sound silly but, are you sure your headphone plug is inserted into the Clip all the way? With a new Clip, it can take a forceful push (some people report that they're afraid that they are going to break the Clip) and the headphone plug should be flush against the Clip. It loosens up quickly with a few uses.

Then if new, exchange or rma it, sandisk is good about their response on rma's. Bad sq isn't something you hear people saying about the clip and I've had several over the last 1.5 or longer years and they're all still preforming very good!
