Sony SRS-NWGU50 Walkman Speaker Dock

Just noticed there is a speaker dock coming out which will be compatible with the new x series and is due to be released on 7 September 2009 from Play.com. Play.com are currently running a promotion where you get the dock free with a purchase of the x1060 ;

This has to be a great deal and one I could not resist. I have not found any in depth information on the dock yet but if anyone can provide any details that would be great.

That must be a first for Sony, a dock compatible with it's own products. In my local store every Sony speaker and audio system comes with an Apple Ipod dock.

Muka I know the feeling, I own a sound system from sony and the dock doesn't even have a wm-port option so I can't even hock up my 818 to the audio system :/

sonyphile, no I'm afraid not it's UK delivery only. I did see the dock here though for less than $100;

This seems good value, could only find it for around $150 elsewhere, know nothing about Provantage however so cannot vouch for them.
