Red face easiest way to transfer videos.
i tried with mediamonkey and that did not work. explorer (windows 7) kept crashing.

anyother programs or ways to get videos on?

I use Total Commander to browse my whole computer. Nice program, give it a try.

i tried that and total commander wont even recognize s9. thru explorer tried copying into the video folder... again crash. what to do?

What mode do you use? BTW, I saw you're using win7. which version do you use? I don't have any problems on Win7.

Are you using MSC to transfer the files? I'm using MSC with firmware 2.41
It could be a USB problem or a storage problem. That could be a reason explorer keeps crashing. Try changing USB ports and let Win7 install it again.

I mean the MSC transfer protocol on your device. in settings->system you can change it from MTP to MSC. try that

You can always change between modes. I'm not sure MM can use MSC but I think it can. (version 3.xx) Just try it

MediaMonkey doesn't do video. It is compatible with MSC, but it does not do video at all.

If the player you have supports MSC, then drag and drop really does work well. Thankfully both of mine do have it.

Personally I use Winamp to management video tags and transfer to the S9. Very simple and quick.

That way I can leave in MTP mode for music management with Mediamonkey (can't wait until the day mediamonkey manages video too!)

when switching to msc mode in system of s9 and then plugging the s9 in I note that after disconnecting i lose everything. playlists, songs. like a reset.

whats up. whats an easy way for video. divx not recognized?

Does WinAmp do MTP mode well for the S9? I'll try myself for audio/video transfers if it does.

msc is a setting on the s9 right?

Yes that's right.. Under settings>system> USB mode> MSC/MTP. There u can change it
