Default Where to Buy Creative zii Egg?

I am trying to get creative zii Egg but not through online stores. Do you have any idea which shops and where do they sell the creative zii Egg in Singapore?

You're out of luck there. The only place you can get it from is the official site. And also this is the OEM developer version, it's not slated for consumer release (by Creative at least) till sometime next year.

Looks like the developer kit and Zii Egg won't be delivered until the end of August. Priority given to pre-orders. Like many companies lately Zii Labs failed to anticipate the demand once their press release hit the tech news loop.

EVERYTHING!

I'm most curious to see the music player UI - like how easy is it to make/edit playlists.

I'm curious, Enzo. Do you buy the devices you review, or do the companies send you one to review? Seems like a review may have a little bias if the reviewer shelled out his own money for it.

I imagine that would depend on how precious the funds for purchasing it were. For someone with the resources to buy and compare a number of players, I wouldn't worry too much about bias.

I purchase nearly all of the review items from my own pocket. In this case I paid $420 for the Zii Egg and spend quite a few thousand on gadgets every year. One of the parts of the review that is hard to write and you should evaluate yourself is the pricing. Since i purchase so many gadgets without thought im very price insensitive not going though the same buying decisions a regular consumer would.

@Olley, I think it would be a little more bias if someone was to send you it for free... You would feel obligated to say nice things, whereas if you do purchase it yourself, you can express your true feelings on the product, good or bad

@Enzo, although getting off-topic, do you keep all your gadgets, or do you resell them on? Surely you can't use all of them!!

$240? I'll assume that means you were able to get one without paying the $399 developers fee. Did you arrange that though a contact at Creative?

That he did! I'll be having my eyes checked later today. $420 sounds about right for $399 plus shipping.
