Default TV Out?
Does the X-1000 enable TV Out so you can watch video on a TV?

The S9 has a cable that lets you do this -- works great. If the X-1000 can't, that's a deal-breaker.

No. It comes with a line-in cable that lets you use it's noise cancelling with other device though.

Wow, that's really surprising. So of the S9, P3, X-1000, the Cowon S9 is the only one that does that. I guess that makes the choice easier. Now I just have to stop connecting the S9 to a Linux box and bricking it.

The upcoming Zune HD will have TV out. There are a couple of upcoming Samsungs that will do TV out. If you want to take a chance on a newer brand, look for the Latte Cafe. It's got a 4.3" screen and comes with a TV-out cable, case, and AC charger.
