is it possible to implement wifi to s9 with a firmware update or is that to big a thing?

There is no WiFi, end of story. Get an UMPC or something if you need the intarwebs, should be way less hassle than an iPhone/DS/PSP/Zune/whatever.

god sorry i was just wondering cos if the s9 got wifi then it could get loads of stupid useless app like the iphone/ipod touch have. for example the mercury levels of fish

What's wrong with a computer or a laptop/netbook? The ipods aren't that great for internet anyway... you did want a portable music and movie player right?

It's asked so much on most S9 forums so people get a little tired of saying "no, it wont come!", dont take offence it just gets a little tedious after a while.

How to get WiFi wihout related hardware? Firmware can't realize a WiFi function! You can't drive a car without wheels or engine! Wait for a S10 or 11 or so ...
