Ok, how about this - any chance of apps or ability to update Slacker via USB?

I notice the old Slacker portables had the ability to update via USB, so why not the Walkman? I know it's been said that Sony doesn't tend to update, but the PS3 is an example that they do update some of their products. I can do without apps, but it would be a nifty addition. Thoughts?

We know this Walkman "can" be updated. It also has WiFi, which is original in the line. Maybe we need a "firmware update suggestions" sticky here and a way to encourage Sony's Walkman team to watch it.
