I am evaluating this possibility too. I think i am gonna wait until they ship the first ones before ordering, just to be sure.
The benefits would be that you are able to run android or plasma os and you get it before everyone else, with all the hardware capabilities
the drawbacks are that you have an unfinished product. Maybe creative will add more buttons and improve software, and it might not be compatibile with the dev version
