It keeps freezing. can someone help me out how to restore to factory settings?

I'd say, you just delete everything on your S9. And then you put on the FW you want..
And don't worry, I did it a few times already, and everything works great!

The reset button does not wipe the memory or restore factory settings - but indeed it might help with the freeze issues. And it's a lot less drastic than wiping the player clean.
![]() Next I would just delete the system folder on the S9. If that doesn't help, just format the player on a Windows computer. At next startup it regenerates all the system files on its own. And just in case, use MSC mode, not MTP. MTP can cause a whole load of different issues.
