P3 restarts after every song if display is off - HELP!

I have only started noticing this problem since upgrading to firmware v 2.14, but am not sure exactly when it began.

Problem: When playing music, whether my p3 is on "hold" with the screen off, or the display has turned off automatically, the player restarts after every song has ended.

Any help in solving this would be greatly appreciated

Try reset, if that doesn't work try downgrading a firmware to 2.10 and see if it persists.

If that doesn't work, try formatting.

looks like the reset may have fixed the problem, but I'll have to play around with it tomorrow to be sure.

however, I was curious - Does dragging + dropping the 30 mb+ firmware file onto the p3 end up "stealing" 30 mb of memory, or is it integrated in such a way as to make changes but take up less if any space at all?

Glad your problem is sorted. The firmware file you drag and drop just replaces the last one. They're probably all around 30mb.
