Hi all,
I recently bought a cheap mp3 player from China. It doesn't have a brand name and is 32gb and it sounds great but my issue is that the firmware on the component is rubbish. Is there anyone who can recommend what do here??? I thought of replacing the firmware but how do I go about doing this??? any thought.... |

cheap unbranded player from china = NO SUPPORT at all - sorry, but the very fact its cheap means there is no one nor no money behind it, firmware is not available, they are made for quick sale only and more info will help on what player it is
im afraid you are stuck, and will be forever with whatever firmware came on the player |

May I ask what's wrong with firmware? I am also considering a 32 GB mp3 player from ebay. I don't care about control or sound quality because it will be used in the car, mostly to play voice recording. Simple folder navigation is all I need. Please comment.

The mp3 player itself is easy to use - a no brainer to figure out the controls without referring to the instruction sheet. My issue is that it can be annoying when you lose the ability to organise files in folders - which for music is vital. But if you are going to play continuously it is fine.
