Ordered a new Cowon s9 yesterday

ill be getting cowon 32 gb soon =) just wondering is there anything i should do with the cowon when i get it. Newegg has charged the battery and its already full and tested by them. I read that most of you get screen protector but isnt the screen anti scratch?

Yes, it is anti-scratch. But, there have been instances where users are still seeing scratches due to sand and other particles. Thus, I'm taking dfkt's and Darkside's advice and buying a screen protector.

If I had an S9, I would buy a screen protector too, because it wold be more expensive, and more awesome , than any of the players I've had so far.

Finally, got internet connection at my new house.
Also, the e5 arrived and I bought px100.
Px100 is awesome.
Better than I thought it would sound.
N the e5 is amazing for that size n price.

I'm looking around right now at amps. So any input is helpful.
I don't think I need one but my brother wants one
and his birthday is just around the corner.

The e5 would be a great gift! It increases the output and there is also a bass boost button. Buy it from www.dealextreme.com

How big is it compared to the S9?
My brother has the D2 which is smaller on the face but thicker from the side.

The e5 amplifier is probably 1/3rd the size of s9.

Cool, I'll look into it. If I remember right, his D2 is about 1/2 the size, so together, it wouldn't be much bigger than the S9, which fits in my pocket with no problem, even with a Noreve case. It might be thicker though if he velcros them together. I still think it'll work.

It is best to invest in a case actually. I had a screen protector on my s9 and took it off just cause I didn't care for it. Cowon's case they sell for the s9 is awesome. It allows the top buttons to remain usable while protecting the player.

I use their case and it is indeed a worthy investment.
