Ordered a new Cowon s9 yesterday

Oh ok. I heard the i-pod touch's sound. And it isn't all that gr8. My friend was sayin "u r crazy. I-pods have the best sound." I said "don't confuse a player's output with it's quality." That's wat m goin for-quality.

You made the right choice, take it from a former iPod Touch 2G owner!!!! I sold my Touch to get the S9 back, well worth it. The SQ was killing me, was like listening to a tin can w/the Touch. And the EQ on it made the music distort, totally horrible. S9 is the move!!!!

Lol. I agree with the 'tin can' sound. It just seems like the highs and lows are being held back.

Hey dude, I'm also in Aus, and I had a titanium also. It didn't feel cheap AT ALL. Make sure you charge it up fully first time round. The screen will probably turn off to save power while charging... This doesn't mean it is full! I made this mistake (plus I was impatient). Just tap it to get the screen to light up.

Update:
Received the s9 just half an hour ago. It is the best thing I've ever seen, held and heard! Just heard the default song provided. Tested the default earfones. Not too bad. But, lack bass. Heard it on Bose Triport IE (BBE Machbass) and it blew my mind! Wtchd the default vdos as well. The screen is amazing.
Unfortunately, I've to go 2 wrk now. Will update u guys in the night. C ya.

Melbourne, you? I bought my S9 while I was in Vancouver about a month ago. It's been sent back to Cowon cos it stopped working when it got wet (my fault).

Hi all. Just uploaded a few songs on the s9. Queensryche's Silent Lucidity, Slipknot's Vermilion Pt.2, BEP's Boom Boom Pow, Jamie Foxx's Blame it etc. Using Bose IE as of now. The default earfones are good, but they lack bass as pointed out previously. They give excellent results for treble, though.
Loaded Valkyrie and Futura-Into the Wild Green Yonder. The screen is unbelievable! Too good.
This is my 1st mp3 player and damn, it's prolly the best 1!

I haven't charged my s9 yet. Should I wait for the battery to drain and then charge it?How long should the 1st charge be? I don't wana mess up it's battery life. Plz guide me. Thanks 2 all those who r helping me. Very much appreciated.
