Well the SQ is good in the FM tuner but again it's FM radio, internet radio is better & with that you can test out the X series SQ.

Is internet radio better quality than FM stereo with a good signal?
I know here in the Uk that FM blows away DAB which is MP2 at low bitrates.
The highest quality internet radio on my phone using HSDPA goes up to 192kbps which perhaps rivals but isn't better than FM.

Well the Slacker app is pretty much kick a$$ & it run at 256kb i think but i'm not sure but i can tell you that it sound freaking sweet, pretty much the Slacker app test out the X series SQ. as for the FM radio, i try it & it good but i'm not a radio person unless the radio use 192k in there station then yeah but 64k, i pass & no you can't use the EQ in the FM radio >_<.

Slacker sounds good. I use Spotify and it's something I wish Sony could have bundled for Europe.

The radio is actually very good for a device of this type. Not hissy, stereo is good, it's sensitive. Would be better if it had RDS though.

I am very impressed with the FM radio. It's easy to program stations, it's easy to scan or scroll through stations and my reception is crystal clear. I wonder if you would get better or worse reception depending on which ear bud cords you have. I use Shure SE 530's and they deliver insanely great sound.
