I've discovered how to delete video and audio files, but is there a way to delete photos from the D2?

No, there isn't a way to delete photos. Cowon developers obviously forgot about that feature...

OK, I don't have one of these but I am curious. If photos are copied to the D2 they cannot be deleted?

Only after you re-connect to the computer.

U can only delete the pictures folders. Example: Open the video/music player and "click" browse. Search the picture's folders and delete.
