Please help someone me with the firmware upgrade.

I've my new P3 ...but I'm not able to upgrade the firmware!!!
I've downloaded an update off Samsung website (ver 2.14), I've decompressed the .bin file, and following the instruction I've put it in Computer/P3/Internal storage/Datacasts. I've turned off the player, and then turned it on again. But there was anything new!!!! My firmware remained the 1.21 version.
And when I searched up the file .bin, i found it in the right place, but the player was not able to open it..because it didn't know the .bin extension. I've tried to put the file in all the other possible folders but with no result!! Where's the mistake???
PS: sorry for my very bad english..I am Italian

Delete it from the P3 and put it in the root folder alongside Music, Videos etc. Then reboot and it will upgrade the firmware.

I've put it there..put it still not working I've not understand where I've to put it

Rename the file so that it reads YPP3.bin
It should work

edit: Just noticed you've got file-types hidden, therefore you just need to change it from V2.14 to YPP3
