Discontinuation with the Clix+

I'm just curious, when was it discontinued exactly? .__.
Because I'm reallllly interested in one, but it's hard to find a new 8GB around these days T___T where would I be able to find one? (In Canada preferably)

Personally, I don't get why they discontinued it for the SPINN. They nothing alike. The Lplayer was a massive disappointment, with the battery being the major dealbreaker. They should've kept the Clix along with the Lplayer.
Just a personal rant.
