Default Why won't BBC iPlayer download for portable devices?

My last two DAPs are compatible with BBC iPlayer, yet I can't seem to download programmes for them
Previously, there were two download buttons; download to computer and download for portable devices. Now there is no portable device option, just "download". I checked iPlayer and it said that both the ZEN and Zen X-Fi are compatible but I can't find a way to download programmes to either

Has anyone managed to do it?

I've done it in the past- I had to play it on my PC once, just a few minutes, then transfer to device.
It would be like the BBC to change their own rules, though.
