Default Turn midi files into 8 bit music

Found an oooold program that make MIDI files sound like 8 bit music (from the old nintendo, NES). Really fun program.

You can also save them as WAV and consequently convert them to MP3. I tried a few and it does sound 8 bit:

You might have heard some of the funky funky music still being made on old 8-bit computers. For example the AY Riders' delightful cover of Hung Up by Madonna. I got an email from someone asking if it was possible to take any MP3 and automatically turn it into chip tune music. The answer is, it's tricky...
