Meizu M8, aka miniplayer 2

I wonder how true this could be... At any rate, I got it off some chinese site and briefly translated it.

It looks much like the M6 although the display has been upgraded to widescreen format, and the touch-sensitive controls now lie on a separate plane which can be slid under the screen. So when you're not using the controls, you can tuck them away... giving it a nice, clean look and keeping the width of the device to a minimum. It supports miniSD and minimmc; therefore making the unit slightly thicker than M6.






I think these illustrations may be the handiwork of a Meizu enthusiast instead of the real deal but I wouldn't mind seeing another step up from M6~

I hope this isn't real... an audio player with moving parts is really not the best idea. It would mean another source for malfunction or breakage... (I know, Samsung did a similar thing with their YP-K5).

Running it over once with atruck doesn't mean squat... Rubing the surface over and over again for over a year can cause alot of problems.

Same thing is with all the slide open cell phones these days, they really only last a year of good use and then they start to bug up.

Also, hope Meizu isn't planning on making new players, the Miniplayer seems to be a good thing to go with. Dont like it when companies pull a Sony and constantly redesign the same player over and over and over again...

hmmm. i like the bigger screen but i dont care about widescreen cos i will eb watching short clips not widescreen movies i think.. i do like the look of this and the SD card *yay*
i mean if they bouthgt out an 8gig version of this i would buy it.. atm im deciding between this and the sansa..
