Since it's such a nice weather here in Denmark, I thought I would post some pictures and share the experience with you all.

Yeah, had the main flash bounced by my assistant on a gold foil, and the secondary flash going straight. An extension cable sure would come in handy, I have to get one sometimes... sure makes it easier than relying on on-camera flash.

dfkt, that is quite an amazing shot ! the skin tone and highlights of the back-lighting are a great combo

Thanks Yuki, I'm quite happy with the outcome as well (except the sky in the top left corner).

She's a lector at the University of Vienna, doctor in anthropology. Good thing we convinced her to show off a bit, for the jewelry collection of a friend.

The sky was this color this morning, we had a dust sotrm the night before. I will post a color enchanced image later, some pink in the image is from color defects from the high contrast i guess.

Did you cut the dog out of another photo or did you just darken the background? The edges of the dog and the background look very very strange to me. Good looking dog for sure!!

I think it's about time to get some EF-mount adapter rings for some of the antiques I inherited over the decades...

While I love my camera, I seldom take pictures on account of being absolutely horrible at it.

I have a D3100 with various lenses (got it with a seperate 18-105, then bought the excellent 35mm f/1.8. I also got an old f/2.8 55mm macro which is the one I use the most now despite it not auto-focusing with my D3100).







All these pics got uploaded to facebook so a lot PQ is lost with the compression... ah well.

Playing with my new/old toy... a 30-35 year old Zuiko Auto-S 50/1.8, with various extension tubes from 12 to 36mm. No post processing, just some test shots.
