A rare visitor to the UK let alone to my garden, it was blown into my garden by the strong winds where it was resting when a greedy Magpie decided it was lunch - luckily I was on hand to frighten away the magpie and the Quail made it to the cover of my hedge, though what became of it afterward I do not know.



R.I.P to this dove - taken in your prime by a greedy Magpie. (The same morning as the Quail incident)

The old camera and the new one. Only complaint so far with the new one...it seems you have to use their software now to transfer pics to your computer.

I could take the card out and use my card reader instead, but I'd rather not, considering that doing that with my old camera has taken a toll....the card only stays in on the old one if the outer latch is securely closed, otherwise it pops out.

My older one, you can just drag and drop if you connect with the cable, but the problem with that method is that it eats the charge of the AA batteries. This new one, you charge the internal lithium-ion when you connect.
