Thanks!

Found a major flaw
The strap is so stiff, you can beat someone up with it.
Going to order a Voigtländer Deluxe strap (rebranded Artisan + Artist) tomorrow.

Havent posted in a while, but I got a nifty fifty for my 60D. Build quality sucks compared to my old FD mount one, but the optics are very very good. Tack sharp at like 2.8+ and even wide open is pretty nice, and it's super vibrant/contrasty. Everyone should have one......Doesn't take up any room in your bag and costs like $100-125.

And just for the hell of it, some pics I shot last week on my AE-1 with the FD 50mm F1.8 (Kodak BW400CN and Gold 200):

Agreed on the nifty fifty. Light, compact, sharp, fast. Though on digital it goes a bit narrower than I would like at times. Here are a few with mine.

This one is with a manual 105mm f2.5 wide open.

Yeah, it is a bit awkward to use because of it's length on APS-C. Ultimately I want a Zeiss Distagon 28mm F2, but since I don't have $1500 to drop on a lens and focus screen I'll live with having to walk backwards to frame for now.

Nice pics, very warm.

I'm really itching for a fast 50mm (well, 80mm on my cam) as well. But I really want to resist the urge for the Canon 1.8 and go for either the Canon 1.4 (smaller, lighter) or Sigma 1.4 (better image quality) right away.

Homegrown apple mint (mentha suaveolens) is the best in a Mojito. I declare the outdoor drinking season open.

Although the quality of these photos are good, they seem more fitting for a poster of some sort or a Super AMOLED screen. The blindingly bright contrast just isn't natural for me.

Tried some "Street" today.
Here's one I like.

Street - Field Test Fuji X100 von oliverleschke auf Flickr

@Slitz: If that relates to my picture of the dog, then I agree.
I choosed film mode "Velvia", which gives you extremely bold colors.

Shot for a product folder of a friend's diploma in graphical design. The gritty look is on purpose.

mmm Velvia....too bad I'm not capable of playing with that stuff in my lab

Anyway I am still amazed by the color and contrast of the 50.... It's so ridiculously warm and vibrant compared to my Tamron.

Here are some hopefully appropriately contrasting subjects I shot today on my dinner break:
