Went to canberra over the last few days to celebrate me having almost finished exams. By almost, I mean I still have 1 left but since I've already passed that it was time to get drunk. And boy, I got drunk.

However, earlier in the day me and a friend went photoing it up around Parliament House. Good fun!!

Being diplomatic. Would have been a bit better if you could see the second camera's screen. But, like the photo below, I like it because of the symbolic meanings etc :

I like the next 2, the first one cause of the sun on the photo, the second because it is "symbolic" etc. Although I don't care so much about the meaning of photos (they just need to look cool )

Now that i'm sitting home with some fever, i'm having finally time to sort, edit and upload my summerpics. Here is one example:

edit:

and a second one:

It appears that a nikon d50 is quite water resistant. During the session, the camera dropped in a bucket of water and for a second or two it was completely submerged (no kidding).

Spain, good summery weather, a bunch of 16yr-olds and a camera you're about to replace make a great recipe for some good action pictures.

edit:

more of the same holiday in spain and france:

3 pics of the square in Barcelona during and before the world cup soccer final, which was won by Spain (the party afterwards was simply amazing)

Varia, mostly Southern France:

fisheye caves:

that's it for now

My son dropped my Sony Cybershot in a gigantic puddle at Yellowstone for about 20 seconds. Still works like a charm. Nice pics btw.

jjrosaria, I'm stuck at "The Bunker". I can't get past the rotating electric drum ugh! Maybe you can help me beat that level.

Very nice, yuki and james09. The Elitechrome gives stunning colors. Only tried it once (not really into slides), and messed the exposure up. I usually go for Portra NC/VC or Velvia for color photos.

Took some test shots with a Fuji F300EXR today. I'm no expert, but I think this tiny P&S did a decent job in low light. 15x optical zoom in such a small package is a real treat. All shots were taken hand held in 6MP (pixel binning) mode and not processed, only resized.
What do you think?
