So I've got a room that I need to watch the temperature in, but its not at the place I live. I don't like having to go there twice a day just to look at a thermometer. I was curious if anyone has ever seen, heard of, or used anything like this.
I found this one when I was browsing around a little. It doesn't have to be wireless, I can run ethernet to my location, and it already has power there.

environmental monitors should be plentiful but possibly expensive. I used to find interesting stuff like that on smarthome.com

Workaround without possibly expensive monitors:
Get one cheap digital weather station with large numerals. Like this or this Get one cheap IP-cam and point it at weather station. Like this Access IP-cam and check the temperature. An IP Thermometer I found: http://www.papouch.com/en/shop/produ...FeR4cAodsAMAiA
