engadget asked the same question about the video playback performance.....anyway sony usually takes 10 yrs to listen before everything becomes too late to save

In Australia we already received the bad news through tech sites that it is going to be a nightmare price, anyone can justify why we Australians need to pay so much than other countries? We always receive things really late as well.

All the new Sony players, unless they're the Japanese version, don't do gapless. That is, unless you use WAV. jjrosaria uses it, and he's stated it's sounds spectacular. So it's WAV for gapless. I wish all the formats were gapless, but no such luck.
