Searched threads but didn't find it.
Is there a way to convert a 260r to a 260? Or Is there a way to get rid of the red warning your tracks have expired connect to renew warning? Annoying as hell. Or I dual boot with rockbox but when I boot up into sansa side always get the Refresh Database and have to wait 30 seconds or so. And I haven't added any music or use a SD card. Any help is appreciated |

Use rockbox's USB mode so that you don't have to reboot into original firmware.

Sorry? Didn't understand.
Have swapped boot order. And it normally boots up to rockbox. But when I connect to computer it boots up with rhapsody as my understanding it cannot boot into rockbox when connect to computer. Using latest rockbox 3.2. The problem is the annoying warning after it boots into rhapsody. It just requires a button push to get rid of and no biggie except annoying. I was wanting a sansa without rhapsody as I don't use it. But further reading seems to indicate that is not possible? Have version 1.02.31. But getting rid of annoying warning without connecting to a rhapsody account would be nice. Last edited by orb9220; 05-03-2009 at 05:06 PM. |

If you use Rockbox's USB mode, you don't have to use the original firmware, in which case you won't get that warning. Update your build, USB support was added a month or two ago.
