i decided to do a 16 gig cf swap for durability of my zen. put it in and everything fine but then tried to install firmware. turns out i had to uninstall WMP11 to get it to detect. but the firmware upgrade only got as far as rebooting device and now the zvm doesnt turn on properly. the blue light turns on but the buttons dont light up nor does anything come onto the screen.
anyone else have this problem? and ideas on how to fix it? computer no longer detects it and i cant get into recovery mode. its on but not displaying anything or reacting to anything... and ive tried the reset button. doesnt work. hopefully it hasnt gone to dead point of no fix zone cuz its my favorite player...

Did your battery have a full charge? If you have a wall charger use it to charge the battery.

I think I am having this exact problem!! Was fully charged and the reset button will not do anything.
BLANK SCREEN w/ BLUE LIGHT ![]() Was testing out a new usb car charger. Set it to 5v and plugged in a previously charged Zen while powered off. Blue power light appeared with a blank screen and player has been stuck like this ever since. The reset button is unresponsive. (sliding power button and press reset button combos have not triggered anything to happen) Plugging into known working chargers (wall & usb) have had no effect. Have never opened my device or modded anything. Has frozen up in the past, but was able to reset without incident. Player had been working fine not 10 minutes prior to this. Till recently I still could go into Recovery. But after I tried this solution: http://www.pimpmyzen.com/e107_plugin...wtopic.php?387
it went wrong (error message during uploading) and now I have the same issues as here. Please help me. |
